Sharon Ramirez was born and raised in Southern California and began dancing at the age of 10. She trained and competed with the dance studio she attended in the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop, and achieved several scholarships and special awards through the competitions, conventions, and workshops that she attended.

After graduating high school, Sharon competed at the college dance team level with her junior college before transferring to Cal State University of Long Beach to achieve her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While working towards her degree Sharon also joined the Clippers Spirit Dance Team, the NBA Dance Team for the L.A. Clippers. During her two seasons with Clippers Spirit Sharon had the privilege of dancing on the Staples Center court for home games, making appearances on the E! Reality Series: “L.A. Clippers Dance Squad”, get transformed into an NBA 2k16 video game character, be featured in commercials for the Clippers organization, and travel to China for the NBA Global Games.

Along with the pro-dance team chapter of her dance career, Sharon is represented by The Movement Talent Agency and has had the opportunity to perform in productions at several theme parks in Southern California such as Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios Hollywood. She has also had the privilege of dancing with artists such as Steve Aoki, T-Pain, 2Chainz, and Wale just to name a few, and has also been a featured dancer on TV in shows such as The Real O’Neals, American Housewife, and America’s Got Talent.

Sharon has felt so grateful for all the opportunities that she has had the privilege to be a part of and is constantly looking for more knowledge and opportunities to help her grow and stay inspired. Outside of dancing she loves spending time with her family, dog, and close friends who keep her grounded, laughing, and surrounded with love!
